• Patrick L. Abbott. Natural Disasters, Seventh Edition (you can get by with used Fifth/Sixth Edition)
• You do not need to buy a reader.

Course Evaluation:

75%: 3 in-class 1-hour exams, each covering 1/3 of the course material and each worth 25% or the grade (no Final). 25% Cumulative points on homeworks.
