WebCT - Student Information

WebCT is a set of web course tools used by UCSC. In most cases, WebCT is used to enhance a course that still meets face-to-face.

Student accounts for WebCT are created at the beginning of each quarter directly from the class list of enrolled students from my.ucsc.edu. These accounts consist of a login and password that matches the login and password students use for Cruzmail, Cruznet and other ITS services. Your login is different than your AIS login. If the class list from my.ucsc.edu does not contain your UCSC email address, your account cannot be automatically created.

Students who are Summer Session only (those without UCSC CruzMail addresses) have been given guest accounts. Those guest account IDs are listed in your Student Records. Those students can pickup their password information if they have not done so already by showing valid ID at the IC Lab, 135 Social Sciences 1 or call the ITS Help Desk at 459-4357 (459-HELP).
