Services for Teaching Assistants

CTE supports graduate students in their role as teachers through services that assist in building skill and confidence in teaching and enhance graduate students' professional development.

Mid-quarter feedback on teaching
CTE's Mid-quarter Feedback program offers several different options for getting feedback from your students, from a CTE consultant, or both. All options are free, voluntary, and confidential. Click on the link above for full information.
Workshops for TAs
CTE offers Brown Bag Lunch seminars for TAs throughout the year, on a variety of teaching topics. We sometimes also have links to other TA workshops offered on campus. Click on the link for a schedule and on-line registration.
Consultation:
CTE staff will be happy to arrange a confidential individual consultation with you on any aspect of teaching. To arrange for a consultation, call 459-5091 or email cte@ucsc.edu.
